"Wall-E" won't be getting a sequel treatment, insisted the animated movie's writer/director Andrew Stanton. Sharing out what he has in mind of the sequel issue, the 43-year-old filmmaker tells MTV News, "Personally, I never consider sequels. I think that takes a lot of hubris to think that your idea is going to live on and on, and I always love the idea of something just being contained and done."

Explaining the reason behind why he is not going to make the sequel for the robot romance film, Stanton points out on the working process of "Wall-E", "We work on these things for so long, that we have a hard time simply thinking that the [first] film is ever going to be done." The director of "Finding Nemo" further adds, "I'm not against sequels, and I've certainly experienced personally and seen secondhand great sequels, but I don't go in with that intent."

A 2008 computer-animated sci-fi/romance film from Pixar, "Wall-E" has become the studio's ninth consecutive movie to land #1 at the box office upon its release on June 26. Having collected so far $532.9 million worldwide, the animated film has won various awards, including the Best Animated Feature Film from the 66th Golden Globe Awards. It also received six nominations from the 81st Annual Academy Awards.

Wall-e Day 5

Today was crazy, when I woke up from being zapped I was in a garbage cube with Eva. She used her laser to blast herself free and then got me out. She saved me but I still needed a lot of new parts to fix me. I had to try to show her with the plant that I need to go back to earth. She blasted the roof and took us out, we saw all the other robots that I helped escape while we were trying to bring the plant to the place the captain said to put it. When he were just about to place it the ship turned and we missed. Then the plant fell, the thing was closing so I went under it and stopped it from closing. The thing crushed me. Eva had made it back some how and got it open to save me again. Then the ship started to go back to earth. Then when we were at earth she went back to my house and got all the parts to rebuild me. At first I didn't know who she was but I soon remembered her. She Finally held my hand.

Wall-e Day 4

Today was really exciting, Eva had brought the plant to the captain of the space ship. The captain pressed a button that made a movie play, the movie told us that we can now return to earth because there is life now. Then when they opened Eva the plant was gone. She was sent in for repair and I was sent for cleaning. When we were there I saw them torturing her, i made them stop though. The only problem was I accidentally let all the crazy robots out. This was bad, they all ran away with me. Eva saved me from being caught though, she took me to a small rocket. She was telling me to go back to earth but I didn't. We saw the little security robot put the plant on the rocket though so I went in to get it. When I was in the rocket took off, I was stuck in it. Just after take off the rocket was going to self destruct with me in it. I took the plant and a fire extinguisher and jumped out in time. Eva had come to get me and we flew around a bit, then we went back to the big rocket ship. Then Eva said that she had to bring the plant back to the captain. When Eva went she told me to stay behind, I decided that I was going to go up with her. When I was at the top the plant fell on me so I brought it up. The captains assistant attacked me for no reason and let me fall down the garbage.

Wall-e Day 3

Today was very crazy. I was showing Eva my stuff and she saw my green thing. It was weird, she took it and turned off. I thought she need to charge so I brought her up top on my house to charge. This didn't work so I tried to connect her to me with cables to give her some power but it didn't work either. Then that big rocket ship came back. It landed and took Eva into it with a big claw. I tried to stop it but I couldn't so I climbed onto it. The rocket ship took me up to a weird place, there were many other robots every were. There were also these people in floating chairs everywhere. Eva was brought to a room with one big person and a couple of robots and they said that she came back positive, I don't know what this means. Today was weird.

Wall-e Day 2

Today something strange landed in my area. A new robot came out of the rocket ship, I am not alone here anymore. I spent the day following her, she was looking for something. At first she wasn't very friendly, she tried to blast me. After a while she stoped trying to destroy me. We were looking at a ship she blasted but a big storm came. I brought here to my place to stay out of the dust storm. We were in my house and I was showing her my stuff but she broke a lot of things. I now am not alone here.
